Terms of Service

Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Campusmeet platform — including the website, web application, and any associated services (collectively, the "Platform") — you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Campusmeet Technologies Private Limited. They apply to all users of the Platform.

Who Uses the Platform

The Platform is used by two categories of users:

Students / Ticket Buyers: Individuals who browse events, register, and purchase tickets through the Platform.

Event Organisers: Colleges, student bodies, societies, clubs, or institutional entities that create, list, and manage events on the Platform.

Different terms apply to each category where specified. Both categories are bound by the general terms in this document.

Nature of the Platform

Campusmeet is a technology infrastructure platform. We provide the tools for event creation, ticket issuance, payment collection, attendee management, and analytics. We are not the organiser of any event listed on the Platform.

The organising institution is solely responsible for the event — its conduct, safety, fulfilment, cancellation, and all obligations to attendees arising from it. Campusmeet has no control over and no liability for the quality, safety, or fulfilment of any event.

Eligibility

To use the Platform you must:

• Be at least 18 years of age. If you are under 18, you must have verifiable consent from a parent or lawful guardian.
• Be resident in India.
• Provide accurate, complete, and current registration information.
• Not be prohibited from using the Platform under any law applicable to you.

User Accounts

When you create an account on Campusmeet:

• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
• You must notify us immediately at campusmeetoffice@gmail.com if you suspect unauthorised access.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, provide false registration information, or are used for fraudulent purposes, without prior notice.

Ticket Purchases

When you purchase a ticket through the Platform:

• Your payment is processed by Easebuzz, our third-party payment gateway, operating under its own terms of service and privacy policy. Campusmeet does not see, store, or process your card or banking credentials at any point.
• A QR-coded ticket unique to your purchase is issued to you electronically upon confirmed payment. This is your proof of entry.
• Tickets are non-transferable unless the event organiser explicitly enables transfer. Sharing, duplicating, or reselling your ticket without authorisation may result in denial of entry and permanent account suspension.
• Campusmeet does not guarantee entry if the organising institution cancels, postpones, or materially alters the event. Refund obligations in such cases rest entirely with the organiser.

Organiser Obligations

Event organisers using the Platform agree that:

• They have full legal authority to organise the event and collect registrations and payments.
• They are solely responsible for the conduct, safety, licensing, and fulfilment of the event.
• They will use attendee data received from the Platform only for managing attendance at their specific event — for no other purpose.
• They will not share attendee data with any third party.
• They will process refunds to ticket buyers in the event of cancellation or postponement.

Prohibited Conduct

You must not use the Platform to:

• Violate any applicable law or regulation
• Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information
• Duplicate, reproduce, screenshot, or resell tickets without authorisation
• Circumvent or attempt to defeat the QR verification or entry management systems
• Reverse engineer, copy, or reproduce any part of the Platform's software or design
• Engage in conduct that harasses, abuses, or harms other users
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Platform or its infrastructure
• Upload or transmit malicious code, viruses, or any software that may damage the Platform

Platform Availability

We take reasonable steps to keep the Platform operational. However, we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access. We may carry out maintenance, updates, or modifications that temporarily affect availability. Campusmeet is not liable for any loss arising from unavailability of the Platform.

Intellectual Property

All intellectual property on the Platform — including the Campusmeet name, logo, design language, software, and tools — is owned by Campusmeet Technologies Private Limited. You may not use, copy, reproduce, or distribute any of it without prior written consent.

Event content uploaded by organisers — names, descriptions, images — remains the intellectual property of the organiser. By uploading content to the Platform, the organiser grants Campusmeet a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display that content for the purpose of listing the event.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable Indian law:

• Campusmeet is not liable for any loss, damage, injury, or harm arising from the conduct, cancellation, postponement, or quality of any event listed on the Platform.
• Campusmeet is not liable for payment failures, delays, or errors attributable to Easebuzz or any banking institution.
• Campusmeet is not liable for any loss of data arising from circumstances outside its reasonable control.
• Campusmeet's total aggregate liability to any user shall not exceed the total amount paid by that user for the relevant ticket or service in the preceding three months.

Nothing in this section limits liability for fraud, wilful misconduct, or any liability that cannot be excluded by law.

Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising from or related to these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Pune, Maharashtra.

Before initiating legal proceedings, both parties agree to attempt resolution through direct communication for a period of 30 days from the date the dispute is first raised.

Modifications to These Terms

We may revise these Terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes via email or a prominent notice on the Platform at least 7 days before the change takes effect. Your continued use of the Platform after that date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

Digital Delivery (Tickets & Communications)

Campusmeet delivers only digital products and services. There is no physical shipping of goods.

• Upon confirmed payment, your ticket (including QR code) is delivered electronically to your registered email and, where provided, via WhatsApp.
• Delivery is complete when the ticket is made available in your Campusmeet account and/or sent to your registered contact details.
• You are responsible for providing a correct email address and phone number. Failed delivery due to incorrect details is not Campusmeet’s responsibility.
• If you do not receive a ticket within a reasonable time after successful payment, contact campusmeetoffice@gmail.com with your transaction reference.
