Organiser Agreement — Key Terms
Authority and Responsibility
By listing an event on Campusmeet, the organiser confirms they have the legal authority to organise the event, collect registrations, and receive payments. The organiser is solely responsible for: the conduct, safety, licensing, and delivery of the event; refunding ticket buyers in the event of cancellation or postponement; and compliance with all applicable laws governing public events.
Platform Fee and Settlement
Campusmeet charges a platform fee of 5–6% of total ticket GMV processed through the Platform per event. This fee is deducted at settlement. The balance is settled to the organiser's registered bank account within 7 working days of the event date (maximum 9 working days). Settlement is processed through Easebuzz.
Use of Attendee Data
The organiser receives the name, email address, and phone number of students who purchased tickets to their specific event. This data:
- May only be used for confirming registration and managing attendance at that specific event
- May not be used for marketing, solicitation, or any other purpose
- May not be shared with any third party under any circumstances
- Must be deleted by the organiser within 90 days of the event date
Violation of these terms constitutes a material breach of the Organiser Agreement and may result in immediate suspension of the organiser's account.
Data Ownership
All behavioural and transactional data generated through the Platform — ticket purchase patterns, attendance signals, check-in data, and engagement signals — is the exclusive property of Campusmeet Technologies Private Limited. The organiser has no claim over this underlying data. The organiser's right is limited to the attendee list described in Section 3, for the purpose and duration described therein.
Exclusivity
Where an organiser has executed an exclusive platform agreement with Campusmeet, they agree not to use any competing ticketing, registration, or event management platform for paid events during the term of that agreement.
Prohibited Use
Organisers may not: list events that are illegal, unsafe, or fraudulent; collect payments outside the Platform for events listed on the Platform; misrepresent event details, capacity, or format to ticket buyers; or use the Platform to conduct events that violate any applicable law.
